i like how when jimmie rodgers is singing about buying a shotgun "long as I am tall" to shoot his ol' lady "jes to watch her fall", the woman on the set is hanging out the window wiff a big old grin on her face, like jimmie had him an armfull of puppies, rather than the song o' death and destruction he's presenting. then, right at the end, he says, "how bout a cuppa coffee"... after that song, I reckon those old gals hopped to, lickety-split like
jimmuh could go to courtin' on that gal if he wanted. he could court any lass if he aimed to.
