are they all that humped up? Doesn't seem to hurt the catchin', but it doesn't seem to help the eatin'.
At least, the ones I've put in the smoker that are that far along into spawn mode are usually kinda soft.
I usually fish for them up on the lower end of the Stilly, may have to make a trip across the mountains soon...
