no, we didn't go to the fly fishing retailer show. nope, no hot tips, juicy gossip or ha-ha-halarious stories of getting drunk with sales reps. and, no, we weren't even invited to the blogger party they had.

I dunno. I never met a free beer I didn't like.
Free beer is always a good thing and hey being a geek isn't all that bad...is it?
There wasn't much in the way of schwag though. I got 2 hats and a pair of wool socks. I figure they cost me about $200 each when you factor in the hotel and airfare.
Maybe they can expand it next year. I think this year it was a pretty impromptu gathering. I would enjoy meeting everyone!
